The target Selection Team at Advances in Engineering has identified the peer-reviewed paper: Sorption of vapours and liquids in PDMS: novel data and analysis with the GAB model of multilayer adsorption as a Key Scientific Article contributing to excellence in engineering, scientific and industrial research.
Students from National Chung Hsing University, Taichung (Prof. S-Y. Suen) from Taiwan arrived to UCT Prague. They will stay in our laboratory until May 2.
Our group has started new project:Preparation and characterization of novel polymeric membranes with controlled embedding of additives for effective CO2 separation from gas mixtures (15-06479S,01/2015-12/3017) supported by Czech Science Foundation.
Marek participated at stand-up show “Diplomky na stojáka” in natural science section. His presentation won audience award and it was also awarded by scientific committee as the best presentation. video
Marek received Hlávka’s prize for the best students and graduates from Prague’s universities, BUT Brno and young talented researchers from Czech academy of science.
Ondřej and Miroslav participated in the biennial ‘Aachener Membran Kolloquium’ (AMK), organised by the Chair of Chemical Process Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, which is one of the leading international conferences on industrial applications of membrane technology.
Marek was in the first ten awarded with Unipetrol awards for his Master thesis “Study of gas transport in high free volume polymers”.
