Today, Marek Lanč successfully defended his dissertation thesis “Gas and vapour transport in modern membrane materials”. Congratulations!
Czech conference CHISA was held in Hotel Jezerka, Sec. Karel Friess had keynote lecture “Membrane processes for gas separation:History, developement and future”. Marek’s poster about MMMs based on polyimides was awarded by Dekonta a.s. company.
Petr, Kristian and Markéta participated at Student membrane workshop organized by CZEMP in Stráž pod Ralskem. Kristian and Petr presented works were awarded by Polish Chemical Society.
Karel Friess with two doctoral students – Marek and Martina participated in conference organized by EMS and NAMS. It was the inspiring week on Azores with a lot of disscusion about the membrane research directions and industrial needs.
Karel Friess visited KU Leuven in Belgium and spoke on Forward Osmosis (FP) – Gas Separation (GS) workshop (30-31/08/2017) about our new progress in MMMs and graphene oxide membranes preparations.
Kryštof received the Ph.D. diploma and Ondřej was officialy habilitated during a ceremony at Bethlem chapel.
We have organized a lab bowling afternoon in Bowling Dejvice. We have accompaied by Pavel Izak from ICCP and John Jansen (ITM-CNR, Italy) and his student, who is now at UCT, Martina Reina.
