Daniel and Marketa have participated in Imagine Membrane 2023 conference. The venue took place in the Azores from 26 to 31 March. Daniel has been awarded with “Student EMS Conference Fee Award”.

Saeed was awarded Emil Votocek scholarship for 2023. The scholarship is intended for the best Ph.D. students from UCT Prague. In addition, his Ph.D. research project for 2023 was accepted for funding. Congrats.
The Special Edition of EuroMembrane 2022 to Celebrate the 40th EMS Anniversary took place on 20 – 24 November 2022 in Sorrento (Naples, Italy). Karel presented two oral presentations and Daniel with Tereza-Marketa explained their research activities during the poster session.
Karel presented our research directions to the audience from the College of Engineering.
Karel presented an invited lecture at the KI ChE Fall Meeting and International Symposium 2022 at Korea.
Dániel Gardenö was awarded a Student presentation awarded. 10th year of the Workshop of students’ presentations by the Czech Membrane Platform was organized on 20th October 2022 in Straz pod Ralskem. Dániel presented his work “Synthesis And Characterization Of Membranes Based On Carbon-Based 2D Materials For H2 Separation From Gas Mixtures” and for this oral presentation was awarded by the expert scientific committee.
International conference focused on membrane and electromembrane processes took place on 18-21 September 2022 in Prague. Karel, Daniel and Tereza-Marketa presented their oral presentations and Jana her poster.
Mini-lab teambuilding happened during summertime. Three of our members participated in a wine degustation in Southern-Slovakia and spent 2 days in Hungary.
Saeed was invited to attend Baden Württemberg post-conference meeting. This fascinating conference was held at the University of Konstanz, University of Tübingen, University of Freiburg, Ulm University, University of Stuttgart, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Heidelberg University, and Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology (ICT). This comprehensive programs provide opportunities, collaboration and realizing the cutting-edge in the research works on Fuel cells, Batteries, Supper capacitors, MOFs, bio-physics and recent advances in clean energy.
